The Magical Mindset
There are lots of methods being taught that are supposed to help induce unworldings. These should be practiced as step one, but step zero is mindset. In the absence of a usable mental setting, the Unworld will not be accessible to most people most of the time.
I like to think of the Magical Mindset as a hypothetical, foolproof state of mind that will always give the desired results. You might say that if you end up in the Unworld, you must have been in the Magical Mindset for at least a moment, or it couldn't have happened.
However, the Magical Mindset is not something you can force or even find with the conscious mind. It is generated spontaneously under a compatible set of circumstances, so it has to be moved toward by tangentially directed forces such as meditation for the sake of meditation, and other practices for their own sake. I call these practices the Frawmbickly Acts.
We stay on the path because we want to, and we change our goals when we get lost. There are no set rules here, but there are practices which can be done in the interest of influencing your mental condition in the right direction so that it can be a fertile bed for unworlding milestones.
