The Breath of Flight
Also known as the Buzz Breath. Since I experienced a month-long flight of transcendence in 1980, including my first conscious unworlding , due to breathing a certain way, I thought I'd better include information on this breathing style. Similar breathing styles are taught by Leonard Orr, Stanislav Grof, Alan Dolan, Wim Hof, and their many followers.
It is a little-known fact of life that the way you breathe is the way you feel is the way you function.
The inhale is full but not slow, and the exhale is just a sudden relaxation or dropping of the air. Emphasis during inhale is on fullness, not speed. Emphasis during exhale is on speed, not completeness. But speed is not the point, and fullness is not the point. The point is that "the way you breathe is the way you feel is the way you function."
This breathing style physically materializes willingness to move forward and detachment from what's behind.
This is your last warning: don't attempt the Buzz Breath unless you are lying down, sober, comfortable, healthy, and not in water. Better yet, don't do it at all. It's my air, who invited ya?
